For admission in UG/Diploma, and Certificate courses at IGNOU, you must have a 10+2 degree. On the other hand, for PG and PG Diploma courses, you must have a bachelor's degree. What is the IGNOU Admissions 2025 Registration Process?

Candidates can fill the registration form by visiting the IGNOU admission portal. Registration process is discussed below:

  • Step 1: Visit ignouadm.samarth.edu.in.
  • Step 2: Login with registered username and password. If new, click on "click here for new registration" to create a new username.
  • Step 3: Provide the required information to complete the registration process.
  • Step 4: Login with your username and password after registration.
  • Step 5: Enter your registered username and password and click 'Submit'

What are the Documents Required for IGNOU Admission 2025?

Scanned documents from your originals are required to upload during the admission registration process. After you have uploaded the document, click on the 'Next' button. You will get the 'Form Preview' option. Save the PDF format or print the form for future reference. Have a look at the list of essential documents for the registration process:

  • Passport-sized scanned photograph (less than 100 KB)
  • Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
  • Other documents (such as birth certificate, mark sheets, degree certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, disability certificate, UGC NET-JRF certificates/UGC NET scorecards, etc.) (less than 400 KB)

What is the IGNOU Admission Fee 2025?

Candidates who are applying for UG, PG, Certificate, or general diploma courses, they need to pay INR 300 for registration process, while candidates applying for the PGDMCH, PGDGM, PGDHHM, DNA, PGCMCOM, and PGDHIVM courses they need to pay INR 500 for registration process.
